Pathfinder Compatible Campaign Books from Epidemic

There are seven distinct regions (or "domains") to the Oathbound world; each region has (or will have) its own core book. Currently, only the domain of Eclipse is done for Pathfinder, but we will be expanding the product line as fast as we can. You will also want to pick up a copy of "Oathbound Seven", which is the core book for the campaign setting, containing world-spanning info, rules, and game mechinics.

The following Oathbound books are either available now or planned for future release under the Pathfinder OGL rules as published by Paizo, Inc. All Oathbound products contain a healthy balance of world content and "crunchy" game mechanics, and are easily usable, even by those who do not indend to play the Oathbound setting. Oathbound Seven
Greg Dent
January 1st 2011 - PDF, 494 Pages, Color, $10.00
Seven years have passed since last the Domains of the Forge were documented, and in that time much has changed. Bloodlords have fallen, the Queen no longer reigns, and the once proud city of Penance has been reduced to a war zone. Millions have been displaced, seeking shaky shelter at the top of the world.
The black birds are circling....

Oathbound Seven

January 1st 2011 - PDF, 494 Pages, Color, $10.00
Prepare yourself to return to the Forge. Called back by the seven watchers of the black flock, you will face new challenges and new enemies in an ever more unstable world of political intrigue, powerful warlords, and ancient secrets.

At the center of the world called the Forge lies an ancient and unfathomable prison, built to hold the greatest being the multiverse has ever known. For millions of years, seven involuntary jailers have stood guard over the empty void left behind by the divine wars. To facilitate thier escape, they formed a new world in the empty space, a forge for heroes, drawn together in bits and pieces from thousands of other realms. For only by finding a being more powerful than himself to take on his duty may one of the Seven slip the bonds of his Oath and be free once again.

Nothing can escape the prison of the Forge, but anything may be drawn into its grip. For millennia, the battles have raged, and from the survivors, a distinct and wonderful orphan world has formed. Steeped in the radiant energy of the Forge's core, the colors here are brighter, the food more delectable, physical pleasure and pain more pronounced, and the inhabitants more beautiful than anywhere in creation. A rich culture has formed across the seven distinct domains of the planet, each dominated by the ever-watching presence of one of the Seven.

Oathbound Seven is the new core rulebook for Oathbound under the Pathfinder game system. It contains everything you need to run an Oathbound campaign. This is not a simple reprinting of DOF, but a careful compilation of all six preceding Oathbound books, reworked, expanded, and enhanced, with plenty of new material for returning Oathbound fans. Oathbound Seven picks up the story of the Forge seven years from where it was left off, revealing a period of intense strife and chaos that has seen marked changes in the character and order of the world.

Some chapters have been written entirely from scratch with all new content.

Oathbound Eclipse

October 4, 2010 - Softcover, 224 Pages, Color, $29.99
Seven years now I have known myself, and though to many it may seem I have been idle and slack, I have in fact honed my craft and filled my head with the phenomena of the land I fashioned in my imprisonment, a land much apart from the rest of this Forge. Eclipse it is called… a land at the top of the world, the whole of which lies in an impossible crater, a break in the earth. Shunned by both suns, the land knows only shadow. Its inhabitants are those who do their work in the dark: thieves, cut throats, slavers, shapechangers, vampires... yet the dark has its lighter side as well, drawing artist, musician, and philosopher for its candle-light and clarity.

This is a domain of wild fungus forests, impossibly deep caverns, ink-black seas and shimmering cities. Here are long forgotten horrors that defy description, hiding in the darkest of dark places. Here are reckless pioneers, hoping to bring order to this realm that they might profit from the secrets and treasures hidden deep in the shell of the Forge.

Here in Eclipse I have walked, at times as a blind beggar, others as a thoughtful nobleman, and even rarely as my Seraphim self, gathering knowledge, personal accounts, illustrations, and even the odd recipe. I have drowned myself in politics and plant life, spoken to children, kings, warlords and have even risked conversations with the few here who might be capable of harm to one such as me. The wealth of knowledge I have gained could fill a hundred volumes, but in this short tome I will lay out for you what is best suited to allow you to make of the world what you want. All that I have complied here—from my disparate writings and humble illustrations, to the works of slaves, concubines and conquerors—is presented for your pleasure.
Features:
  • A new approach to the sourcebook
  • 5 new player character races
  • 5 new player classes
  • A new system for werran and vampire characters
  • Expanded rules for vision
  • New prestige races
  • Full description of the domain of Eclipse.
  • Monsters, spells, maps, magic, and more

Hail stranger, dare you come and lay your eyes on your doom? Step inside if you can and bear witness to the foulest compendium the Forge has to offer! From across the seven domains, beasts and horrors have been gathered, dissected, and brought into the light of day. From the battle tactics of the colossal Sand Strider to the mating habits of the lowly Death Moss, all the knowledge you need to keep your thread of life intact is here for your taking. Come experience the bloodthirsty rage of the Karnos and the twisted machinations of the Palethian. No mortal danger required... except for maybe paper cuts.

The Oathbound Bestiary is the official monster compendium for the new Oathbound for Pathfinder. It is a companion to the core book (Oathbound Seven), and includes over 200 monsters: three distinct, re-envisioned, and revitalized versions of each of the classic Oathbound monsters, plus many entirely new creatures and tons of updated art, ideas, and stats.

Every monster in the book is presented as three distinctly different variant creatures designed for different power levels, giving them an incredible flexibility and utility for all sorts of situations. These levels are not simply upgrades, but versions, each with new tricks up its sleeve. Pay for 68 monsters, get 204!

Note: This book is for all gamers. As this book is fully Pathfinder compatible, it can be easily incorporated into any Pathfinder-based campaign. Is not necessary to play Oathbound to get a full use out of this compendium (though we are certainly hoping you'll take a look at the larger setting if you like the Bestiary).
